Seafront Apartments for sale in Malta
There are many dreams that one may have in their lives however owning an ocean front apartment or Seafront (Mediterranean Sea) apartment is probably one of the most dreamed dreams around the world. In parts of the world only the rich and famous can afford such a luxury property.
In America, an Ocean front apartment will set you back millions of dollars, in France and other parts of Europe the same but in Euros. The fact that in Malta seafront property is still affordable is one of the key reasons why the upmarket/luxury market in Malta is still thriving.
The Sliema and St. Julian’s seafront promenade are definitely the most sought after areas in Malta. This is a result from the continuous development and redevelopment of older properties that are either being dropped down or being refurbished completely. Many people complain about the numerous cranes that are seen along the beautiful shoreline of Malta but fortunately for the economy in Malta this is an inevitable scenario which happens when a real estate industry is growing and not declining. One should start to get be worried when there are no cranes and there are too many derelict houses in Malta.
Seafront real estate in the Northern and Southern parts of Malta are also desirable, prices can be some 30% cheaper than that of the Sliema and St. Julian’s promenade. Development is also on the rise in these areas with the Ta’ Monita Complex being developed in Marsascala, though not directly on the seafront, will set new standards in that area and there are always other professional condominium developments in waiting or on the rise at any given time in the north.
