18th FEBRUARY 2005 - Former US RE/MAX Regional Director At Local Training Course -RE/MAX Malta Due to Open its Gozo Office

Mr. Jim Van Horn, a former RE/MAX Regional Director in the United States was the main instructor during a two-day training course organised by RE/MAX Malta for all property sales & letting associates. The training course entitled ‘RE/MAX Jump Start Course’ was held at the Hilton Malta and was attended by associates from all the RE/MAX offices, including associates from the Gozo office that is due to start operations over the coming weeks.

Having started his career in 1979 and having joined RE/MAX in 1984, Mr Van Horn is considered a veteran from the RE/MAX system. Today he spends 70% of his time travelling throughout Europe exchanging his knowledge with associates from RE/MAX’s European regions. Mr Van Horn boasts plenty of experience in the property sector where after having started as an agent, he moved on to holding positions of RE/MAX International Trainer, Regional Director of RE/MAX New England comprising 6 US States and Regional Director RE/MAX South West comprising another 5 US States.

The ‘Jump Start Course’ was the first part of a wider training program that RE/MAX Malta is planning to host for all its associates. The next training initiative will be the RE/MAX Succeed Programme, an intensive 8 week training course that is also being implemented throughout the RE/MAX European Regions. RE/MAX Malta forms part of a network of 53 countries, 5000 offices and over 100,000 associates around the world.
