RE/MAX MALTA Regional Directors attend meetings in Switzerland. First RE/MAX Malta Annual General Meeting is a success

Kevin and Jeffrey Buttigieg attended a Regional Directors meeting in Feusisberg, Switzerland. This meeting is an annual event that brings together Regional Directors from across Europe to discuss the previous year’s results and business plans for 2006.
The meeting kicked off with RE/MAX Europe Managing Director, Bill Soteroff, announcing that 6 new countries joined the network and with the additions of Bulgaria, Slovakia, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, RE/MAX Europe now comprises of an unprecedented 29 countries not to mention the other 33 countries represented by RE/MAX International. In 2005, RE/MAX Europe’s growth results increased and also overtook the growth of RE/MAX International. Turkey, followed by Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and Portugal were the leading regions for RE/MAX Europe.
The Regional Directors were informed that there will be more marketing funds allotted to The EUFA Cup and Champions League football amongst other sponsorships that will take place during the year 2006. Last year, RE/MAX were very prominent in Formula 1, FIS Skiing, EUFA Cup, and Golf. Mr. Soteroff explained, “It is RE/MAX Europe’s main objective to become a household name across Europe and we choose premium sport events such as Formula 1 and Football to relate to our vast range of clientele. Another announcement was that of the redesign of the RE/MAX Malta and other European websites RE/MAX Europe.
The meeting continued with a guest speaker, Mr. Richard Robins of RR International. Richard Robbins is the CEO, of one of the largest coaching organisations in the USA, dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and leaders take their business to a new level. Mr. Robbins spent an hour and a half coaching the Regional Directors in ‘Achieving better results’. The CEO of RE/MAX Europe, Walter Scneider, concluded the meeting the next day by presenting the Presidents Cup to Turkey for achieving the best results in RE/MAX Europe.
RE/MAX Malta recently organized their first Annual General Meeting and Awards ceremony at the Westin Dragonara.
The meeting was held to keep the Associates and staff informed on the previous years results and the plans and targets for the year 2006. The previous year’s figures displayed a healthy year of activity and the meeting was overall a very informative presentation that culminated in the announcement of the award winning Associates for both the Letting and the Sales departments, for 2005. Going down in the annals of history, as the first Associates to receive the award for top producers of the year are Michael Bonello for Sales and Edward Agius for Letting. In a brief but anxiously expected ceremony the two Associates were presented with a handsome brass plaque inscribed with the achievement for which they were being rewarded and in a more perhaps generous gesture Kevin Buttigieg announced that the company will be giving them an all expenses paid trip to a city of their choice in Europe accompanied by their partner for one week.
