RE/MAX MALTA’S SALES TARGETS SUPERSEDED FOR THE 4TH YEAR RUNNING.
Higher Education And Larger Network Main Keys To Success.
RE/MAX Malta has increased sales and letting volumes by 50%. This was announced RE/MAX’s Regional Director, Kevin Buttigieg during the company’s annual general meeting. ‘We are proud to say that just like the previous year; our sales volumes, office growth and agent count have increased and our targets have not only been met but superseded’. Mr Buttigied attributed this success to all those present for their fine performances and augured them to continue with their determination to be the best, the RE/MAX way.
Speaking about the current market conditions, Mr Buttigieg said that although the market seems to have gone through a bit of a slow down especially prior to the general elections, experience has taught us that there are always great opportunities for both buyers and sellers. ‘The Maltese market is different because of its size and culture, however as long as the Maltese continue to believe in home ownership, and the Government does its own part by encouraging foreign investment the Maltese property market will continue to flourish’. ‘Also, as long as we continue to service the client professionally our clients will return and will make RE/MAX their first choice real estate agent’.
After Mr Buttigieg’s address a recorded video greeting from the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of RE/MAX Europe, H. Charles Lemire, recently in Malta for a regional Business Development meeting, was shown. Mr.Lemire thanked the Maltese associates and franchise owners for their hard work in 2007 and wished them the best of luck for 2008.
RE/MAX General Manager, Joseph P Theuma, followed with a presentation featuring an in-depth analysis of the yearly figures, focusing on the details as previously announced by the managing director. In his presentation Mr. Theuma explained that “the exponential growth that RE/MAX witnessed is mainly due to the expansion of the group’s network, RE/MAX’s successful partnerships and franchises who in turn have successfully recruited more associates which have contributed to the company’s increase in turnover.” He added that, ‘with eight strategically located offices in Malta & Gozo, a strict induction process and on-going training we were in a position to reach a wider spectrum of clients. Mr Theuma also highlighted RE/MAX’s successes in ‘first time buyers’ market.
The evening came to an end with a cocktail reception and a presentation to the top performing employees of the year. Seven high level achievers were handed out certificates, whereas the top performers were awarded plaques for their achievements. The top performers were sales and letting associates, Peter Barthet and Michaela Tabone. Patrick Spiteri and Michaela Tabone were both the top listing associates for sales and letting respectively. Top performances were awarded overseas holidays for two to any European destination.
